Associate Recruiter

Ingrid joined Kinney Recruiting as an Associate Recruiter after several years working with the associate recruiting team at Latham & Watkins in New York and Austin, including five summer programs. In that role, she helped identify and recruit top associate talent, supported candidate evaluation, and planned and managed summer programs from start to finish. Her experience gave her firsthand insight into what makes associates stand out in BigLaw, both in the recruiting process and after they arrive.

The move to the agency side is a natural fit. Ingrid understands the rhythm of law firm hiring, the pressures firms face when evaluating talent, and the importance of attentiveness, discretion, and judgement throughout the process. Having seen recruiting from inside a major global law firm, she brings a practical understanding of how hiring decisions are made and what both firms and candidates need from a good search process.

Ingrid graduated from Texas Christian University in 2021, with a double major in Strategic Communication and Art History, completing her degree in three and a half years. Originally from Austin, Texas, she moved to New York City three years ago and has called it home ever since.

Outside of work, she’s an avid traveler who has visited more than 40 countries, including Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. She has advanced German proficiency and an eavesdrop in Afrikaans. When not traveling or recruiting, Ingrid enjoys baking, cooking, doing crosswords, and going to Pilates.
