Morgan Lewis Adds Versatile Litigator to Pittsburgh Office

Morgan Lewis today welcomes Wendy West Feinstein, a versatile litigator with an extensive background representing clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and manufacturing industries, among others. Ms. Feinstein joins Morgan Lewis as a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office from a large US law firm, where she co-chaired the products liability group.

Ms. Feinstein has advised clients on a comprehensive range of commercial, product liability, and false claims cases. She represents companies in a variety of disputes, including matters involving contracts, intellectual property, and allegations of fraud, misrepresentation, and unfair competition. She also counsels employers on employment disputes and has represented foreign countries in litigation in the United States.

“Wendy’s expansive background provides clients the opportunity to work with an extraordinarily resourceful lawyer who can handle a range of challenges for them,” said Morgan Lewis Chair Jami McKeon. “Her presence adds a significant new dimension to our Pittsburgh office, while also deepening our litigation capabilities more broadly.”

A veteran negotiator, Ms. Feinstein often assists clients in resolving disputes prior to litigation. She also has served as outside general counsel for clients, and she regularly advises them on the development of business strategies aimed at preventing litigation.

“We are fortunate to be joined by a highly energetic and multi-dimensional lawyer who brings so much to the table for our clients in a variety of industries, but with a particular focus on those in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries,” said John G. Ferreira, managing partner of the firm’s Pittsburgh office. “Our clients in all sectors will benefit not only from her experience as a litigator but also as an advisor who will help them avoid the risks of litigation in the first place.”
