Leech Tishman Welcomes Fred Leech

Frederick Leech has joined Leech Tishman as a partner in the Pittsburgh office and a member of the Corporate Practice Group.

Leech has a wide-ranging legal practice involving advising business clients on regulatory matters, corporate governance and acquisition transactions. In addition, he serves as outside general counsel to a number of operating company clients, principally in the manufacturing and media industries. In this role, in addition to managing his own legal projects, Leech oversees the delivery of a wide range of services in areas such as intellectual property, employment, tax, litigation, environmental law and benefits. Leech also has significant experience representing investment advisers in regulatory matters and strategic transactions.

“We’re delighted to have someone of Fred’s considerable experience join the firm,” said Pete Fuscaldo, managing partner of Leech Tishman. “His wealth of knowledge and expertise will be a significant asset for clients.” Before joining Leech Tishman, Leech spent 35 years at Reed Smith, where he focused on corporate and finance legal issues.

Leech is the older brother of Tony Leech, a co-founder of the firm who died in 2004.
