Offit Kurman Welcomes Richard Gilly to the Firm’s Office in Philadelphia, PA

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Richard Gilly has joined the firm as a Principal member of Offit Kurman’s Intellectual Property Group. Mr. Gilly will work out of the firm’s Philadelphia location, where he will assume his new role as head of Offit Kurman’s Patent Practice.

With over 25 years of experience in patent and trademark law, Mr. Gilly is a top-tier litigator, prosecutor, and transactional advisor. The clients he has served include Fortune 100 technology and telecommunications companies, biomedical device manufacturers, financial institutions, clothing and toy manufacturers, members of the gaming industry, automotive companies, industrial equipment developers, as well as media and entertainment enterprises. A frequent author and lecturer on emerging patent law issues, Mr. Gilly has published articles for Corporate Counsel and Bloomberg BNA, and has spoken at events hosted by the Medical Device Manufacturers Association and Johns Hopkins University. In 2013–2015, he was recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the Intellectual Property category.
