Bird & Bird Strengthens Competition Practice in France With The Appointment of Thomas Oster

Bird & Bird are pleased to welcome Thomas Oster today as a new partner in the Competition & EU group, based in Paris.

Joining from Baker & McKenzie Paris, where he was previously Counsel in Competition and Distribution Law, Thomas’s practice covers national and European competition law, and commercial and distribution law. He is also involved in competition related litigation in particular in respect of follow-on damages actions.

He has substantial experience of advising clients on cartel investigations, and assisting companies in preparing leniency applications before the European Commission and the French Competition Authority.
