Baker & McKenzie Reinforces its Litigation and Arbitration Department with the Recruitment of Katia Boneva-Desmicht as a Local Partner

Katia Boneva-Desmicht has joined the Litigation and Arbitration department of the Paris Office of Baker & McKenzie as a Local Partner.

She is specialized in civil and commercial litigation and has in particular an expertise in distribution law, commercial law and international law. Katia also has an expertise in contract and liability law (contractual disputes, strict product liability, and unfair competition). She has developed a specific expertise in cases relating to the termination of contracts and established business relations. She advises French and global companies in various sectors on all of these issues.

Jean-Dominique Touraille, Partner heading the Litigation and Arbitration Department of the Paris Office, is delighted at the arrival of Katia Boneva-Desmicht who will “put her recognized skills and experience at the service of our team in order to keep on improving the service provided to our clients.”

Katia Boneva-Desmicht, who is Franco-Bulgarian, spent her entire career at Dentons’ (2004-2015). She had been an Associate for eight years (2005-2013) and was appointed as an Of Counsel in 2013. She has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2005. She passed a DEA of Business and Economic Law from the Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University in 2004, a DESS of Law and Economic Globalization from Sciences Po and the Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University in 2003 and a Master’s Degree of Business Law from the Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University in 2002. Katia Boneva-Desmicht is fluent in French, English and Bulgarian.
