Baker Botts Welcomes Technology and Commercial Litigation Partner to Palo Alto Office

Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading technology and energy law firm, announced today the addition of Cheryl A. Cauley, a prominent trial, technology and commercial litigation lawyer, as a partner in the firm’s Palo Alto office. Ms. Cauley comes from respected Bay Area litigation boutique, Taylor & Patchen.

“Cheryl is a seasoned lawyer with deep roots throughout the Bay Area. Ms. Cauley is a triple Stanford University graduate, earning her B.A. with Distinction in History, an M.A. in Sociology, and her J.D. from Stanford. She was the Associate Managing Editor of the Stanford Law Review and a volunteer at the Stanford Community Law Clinic. Ms. Cauley’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes. She has experience trying cases from their inception through their appeal in district and appellate courts across the country, representing clients in fields such as internet search and advertising, wireless communications and biotechnology.
