Litigator Elizabeth Weldon Joins Haynes Boone in Orange County

Haynes and Boone, LLP is delighted to announce the addition of Litigation Partner Elizabeth Weldon to the firm’s growing Orange County office. Elizabeth joins from Snell & Wilmer L.L.P., where she spent over 20 years in commercial and business litigation with a specialty in franchising.

Elizabeth is a certified specialist in franchise and distribution Law, The State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. In addition to her focus on representing franchisors, Elizabeth represents both large and small businesses in commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, tort, unfair competition, class action, commercial real estate, intellectual property disputes, such as patent, trademark, and trade dress claims, as well as other complex matters.

Elizabeth currently serves as the chair of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, recognized as the preeminent forum for the study and discussion of the legal aspects of franchising. Additionally, she is on the Federal Bar Association Orange County Board, currently serving as secretary.

Outside the office, she is a dedicated community servant, having spent time as president of the board of directors of Girls Inc. of Orange County, a non-profit organization serving over 7,000 girls annually, and she is a supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach.

Elizabeth is the second litigator to join Haynes Boone’s growing Orange County office in less than a month, further enhancing the firm’s footprint in Southern California. Elizabeth is licensed to practice in Arizona, in addition to California.
