Polsinelli is pleased to announce that its Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice has added Shareholders Jonathan K. Kitchen and Daniel E. Cohen in New York, further expanding the firm’s private equity platform in one of the country’s most active deal markets. Kitchen arrives from Cozen O’Connor, while Cohen joins Polsinelli from Massumi + Consoli LLP.
“Jonathan and Daniel represent the kind of strategic talent we are deliberately adding as we continue to scale our private equity platform,” said Chase Simmons, Chairman and CEO of Polsinelli. “Their experience and leadership align with our firmwide strategy of investing in high-growth practices and expanding our capabilities in key markets to better serve our clients nationwide.”
The arrivals of Kitchen and Cohen continue Polsinelli’s sustained growth in New York, where they become the seventh and eighth shareholders to join the office over the past 12 months.
“The continued growth of our New York office reflects the momentum we are building in this market,” said William A. Di Bianca, New York Office Managing Partner. “We are focused on bringing in talent that strengthens our presence in the city and surrounding region and also contributes to the connected culture that defines our team here.”
“I am excited to join Polsinelli’s Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, which has established itself as one of the top platforms in the highly competitive middle market,” Kitchen said. “I am eager for my clients to experience what drew me to Polsinelli, namely the energetic group of collaborative, high-integrity and focused professionals so clearly committed to the continued success of their clients and the firm. It was easy to understand their success to date, and I am thrilled to be a member of the team going forward.”
