Paul Hastings Continues Growth of M&A Practice in New York

Paul Hastings today announced that M&A lawyer Jon Kubek has joined the firm as a partner in New York. Kubek joins from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.

Some of his significant client representations include Innoviva, Inc., in its acquisition of La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company; Choice Hotels International in its acquisition of Radisson Hotel Group Americas and extended-stay brand WoodSpring Suites; Resideo Technologies in its acquisition of First Alert; Allied World in its acquisition by Fairfax Financial; and Protective Life in its acquisition of the individual life and annuity business of Liberty Life, among other transactions.
