Valsamopoulos was previously a partner at Westerman Ball Ederer Miller Zucker and Sharfstein, LLP, a boutique law firm on Long Island. Valsamopoulos earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. He began his career at Bracewell LLP.

Seyfarth announced today the arrival of partner Rotem Bar-Kokhva to the Corporate department and Tax practice in the firm’s growing New York office. Rotem joins from the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he practiced in the Tax group for more than a decade.
Chris Duffy, an accomplished trial lawyer with nearly two decades of experience in complex commercial litigation matters, has joined Vinson & Elkins as a partner, further enhancing the firm’s global trial and litigation team and expansion in New York.
Duffy joins V&E from Boies Schiller Flexner LLP. He focuses on securities and shareholder litigation, corporate governance, director and officer representation, commercial disputes and mergers and acquisitions, as well as external investigations by FINRA, the SEC, the New York Attorney General and other government agencies.
Eric Blanchard is joining Cooley’s capital markets practice as a partner in the New York office. He arrives from Covington & Burling, where he was global chair of its capital markets and securities practice.
