Morgan Lewis Adds Finance and Restructuring Partner in New York

Morgan Lewis today welcomes finance partner Craig A. Wolfe, a lawyer who for 20 years has assisted companies in a wide variety of industries on restructuring-related matters. He arrives from another global firm and will be resident in New York.

Mr. Wolfe represents distressed debtors in formal Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. He also represents strategic and financial purchasers in acquiring distressed businesses and specific assets, as well as creditors’ committees in the bankruptcies of businesses across multiple industries.

“Craig’s arrival deepens our capacity to assist clients who require elite-level advice regarding insolvency issues,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “His comprehensive work in this area enables him to provide the sophisticated and timely support companies require in matters that are often critical to their success.”

Mr. Wolfe has worked with clients in a variety of sectors, including retail, apparel, food and beverage, packaging, technology, ocean shipping, shipbuilding, petroleum trading, offshore oil, pipeline, transportation and logistics, entertainment, telecommunications, chemical, aircraft, steel, publishing, manufacturing, and printing. He also often represents creditors’ committees in bankruptcies across multiple industries. Earlier in his career, he was the principal of a maritime shipping company.
