Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is pleased to announce that James “Jamie” S.H. Null has joined the Tax Practice Group as a partner in the New York office, further strengthening its federal and international tax practice. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Mr. Null was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
Mr. Null advises on US federal tax matters, including US inbound and outbound investments, and domestic and international tax planning for individual, corporate and partnership transactions, as well as private equity investments and structures. He also advises clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Null’s practice spans a variety of industries, including media, finance, real estate, biotechnology and alternative energy. He regularly counsels on international and domestic investments, mergers and acquisitions, pre-immigration planning, structuring and restructuring, and general corporate transactional tax planning.
