International Arbitration Pro Erika Levin Joins Fox Rothschild in New York

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Erika Levin in New York as a partner in the International Practice Group. Prior to joining Fox, she was a partner at Lewis Baach Kaufmann Middlemiss PLLC and worked with other major international law firms.

Levin has deep experience in all facets of international disputes, with a particular emphasis on international arbitration, complex commercial litigation, and the enforcement of awards. Born in Brazil and having traveled extensively for her work, Levin has developed a network of contacts throughout the world. She represents multinational companies as well as institutional and individual high-net-worth investors in a wide variety of matters. A significant part of her practice is dedicated to disputes and monetization opportunities relating to Brazil and Latin America.

“The needs of our international clients are evolving and Erika is adept at assessing and handling not only the litigation and arbitration matters, but also the business and compliance issues that arise for foreign entities doing business in the United States,” said Mark L. Silow, Chair of Fox Rothschild.

“Erika is an exciting addition to our International Practice Group because she has strong ties around the world, particularly in Brazil and throughout Latin America. She bolsters our presence in complex commercial and cross-border litigation, and will also help us grow the corporate side of the practice through her connections to companies and entrepreneurs looking to establish a U.S. presence,” Peter J. Tucci, Chair of Fox Rothschild’s International Practice said.

A former general counsel for a litigation finance company, Levin understands the importance of aligning her client’s legal strategy with its business goals. In addition to providing counsel and advice to clients, Levin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and serves as an arbitrator for many of the leading arbitral institutions.

“I am excited to join Fox’s team and introduce my clients to the broad capabilities and deep bench offered by the firm. Joining this collaborative team will ensure that our clients’ needs are handled strategically and efficiently,” said Levin.

Levin earned her B.A. from Rutgers University and her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, where she has been an adjunct professor for more than a decade teaching international commercial arbitration, international sales law, international business transactions, comparative corporate law and fashion law.

With more than 950 attorneys nationwide, Fox assists international companies doing business in the United States and in proceedings before American courts as well as before major arbitral institutions.
