Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Jane M. Love, Ph.D. and Robert Trenchard are joining the New York office as partners. Love and Trenchard, previously partners with Wilmer Hale, will continue to practice intellectual property and life sciences litigation.
“We are pleased to welcome Jane and Bob to the firm,” said Ken Doran, Chairman and Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn. “Our patent litigation practice is thriving, and adding capacity to the practice to meet client demand, particularly in the life sciences area, is a key goal of the firm. Jane and Bob are highly regarded in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, and their additions will strengthen and diversify our IP group.”
“We are delighted to bring Jane and Bob on board,” said Mark Kirsch, Co-Partner in Charge of the New York office. “Jane is a nationally recognized IP practitioner and Bob is a top-flight complex commercial litigator who has extensive patent litigation experience. They will be strong additions to the firm.”
“Jane and Bob bring broad experience and recognized expertise, having successfully handled many important matters for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, including significant ANDA litigation on behalf of leading pharmaceutical companies,” said Josh Krevitt, Co-Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. “We are thrilled to be able to add Jane and Bob to our deep roster of IP and Life Sciences litigators.”
“The firm has a dynamic and robust intellectual property practice, combined with a leading global platform,” said Love. “I am excited to be able to contribute to the firm’s expansion of its IP and life sciences practices.”
“This is a great opportunity,” Trenchard said. “Gibson Dunn is home to a preeminent litigation practice, and I look forward to practicing with my new colleagues.”
