Corporate Partner Sarah Hewitt Joins Fox Rothschild in New York

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Sarah Hewitt to the New York office as a partner in the Corporate Department. Prior to joining Fox, Hewitt was partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP.

She has decades of experience guiding public and private companies throughout the corporate lifecycle, particularly in connection with mergers, acquisitions and corporate financing,” said E. Bradley Gould, Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office. “Sarah has also represented clients in art law matters, advising specialty lenders in financings related to renowned works of art.”

Hewitt represents domestic and international companies of all sizes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, securities, bank lending, general corporate and corporate governance matters. She provides legal advice and guidance to clients in a wide range of industries, including art, energy, financial services, mining, software, technology and telecommunications.

Her cross-border transactions have involved counter parties in Bermuda, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, China, Canada, Costa Rica, England, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico and Singapore.

Issuers, underwriters, investors, directors, executive officers and shareholders turn to Hewitt for counsel on proxy statements and consent solicitations, divestitures and recapitalizations, among others. She also represents borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured financing transactions, including asset-based loan transactions.

An advocate for women and minority-owned businesses, Hewitt is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization and is an angel investor investing in early-stage women-led businesses.

Hewitt earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and her B.A. from Williams College.
