Christopher Lacaria Joins White & Case as a Partner in New York

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its New York office with the addition of Christopher Lacaria as a partner. Lacaria joins White & Case’s Global Tax Practice, Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice and Private Wealth & Family Offices Group. He joins White & Case from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.

“In order to more completely service the needs of the senior executives of our corporate and private equity clients, including the family offices of these executives, we are adding to our critical mass of senior, experienced private wealth management lawyers,” said John Reiss, Global Head of White & Case’s M&A Practice.

Lacaria advises family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families of multigenerational wealth, and individual and corporate fiduciaries on a wide range of trust and estate matters, including business succession, philanthropy and complex trust and estate administration. He often works with founders, family-led businesses and entrepreneurs, and has extensive experience advising private equity and hedge fund principals on tax structuring of fund interests and other complex assets.

Lacaria started his legal career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and spent more than seven years as an attorney in its Trusts & Estates Group.
