BakerHostetler Adds Veteran Corporate and Securities Lawyer in New York

BakerHostetler announces that Adam W. Finerman has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office. Finerman will co-lead the firm’s IPOs and Securities Offerings team. Finerman arrives to the firm from Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP in New York.

“BakerHostetler has a great New York and national corporate platform and I look forward to joining the business practice group and helping to further strengthen the firm’s position as a top adviser to public and privately held companies,” said Finerman.

Finerman has extensive experience representing businesses in public and private securities offerings, IPOs, all types of M&A transactions and securities restructurings. He also regularly provides counsel on securities disclosure, compliance with SEC and stock exchange requirements, corporate governance and investor relations matters.

“Adam is a perfect fit with our securities practice, and we are thrilled that he is now part of the firm,” noted business practice group chair John Allotta. “His experience across the spectrum of capital markets, securities, M&A and corporate work will be a tremendous asset to our firm and clients, both in New York and nationwide.”

“Adam is the highest caliber individual and an exceptionally skilled and trusted strategic adviser, and outside general counsel, to public and private companies,” said George Stamboulidis, BakerHostetler’s New York office managing partner. “He will deepen our national securities and capital markets expertise in the New York market, and we welcome him to the firm.”
