Baker Botts Welcomes Prominent M&A and Private Equity Partner to New York Office

Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology and life sciences law firm, announced today that Arman Kuyumjian has joined its Corporate Department in its New York office as a partner and Co-Head of the firm’s Cross-Border M&A Practice. He joins from Holland & Knight LLP in New York City, where he was a partner in the Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group.

Kuyumjian has a broad-based cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity practice that spans across multiple industries, including life sciences, technology, energy, real estate, hospitality, asset management and the transportation sectors. His areas of expertise cover public, private and distressed M&A, as well as other strategic arrangements and governance matters for clients around the world.

Kuyumjian earned his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

His arrival follows several other recent strategic hires in Baker Botts’ Corporate Department, including partners Omar Iqbal in Riyadh, Jason Rabbitt-Tomita in Palo Alto and David Marshall in London.
