Andrew Alin Joins WilmerHale, Further Bolstering the Firm’s M&A and Private Equity Practices

WilmerHale is pleased to announce that Andrew Alin, an accomplished mergers and acquisitions and private equity lawyer, has joined the firm as a partner in our New York office. Alin joins WilmerHale from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in New York.

Mr. Alin is a leading corporate lawyer with a broad mergers and acquisitions practice. He represents financial institutions, financial technology companies and other strategic parties, as well as private equity sponsors, special purpose acquisition companies and hedge funds, in public company mergers, asset sales, subsidiary carve-outs, strategic investments, corporate governance matters, proxy contests, joint ventures, spin-offs, recapitalizations and other complex transactions. He also advises clients on transactions involving distressed companies and assets, including mergers, acquisitions, investments and financings, as well as restructurings.

Mr. Alin has been named a “Rising Star” by The IFLR 1000 in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He received his BA and JD from University of Pennsylvania.
