Agatha Kluk Joins Orrick’s New York Tech Companies Group

Orrick announced today that Agatha Kluk, a leading advisor to the technology ecosystem, has joined the firm as a partner in New York. Agatha joins Orrick from Perkins Coie, bringing extensive experience as a sought-after counselor to founders, operators, board members, and venture investors. HER arrival follows a significant period of growth for Orrick’s Technology Companies Group and underscores the firm’s commitment to the New York market.

Agatha advises clients throughout the entire business lifecycle—from formation and venture financing to strategic exits. Her practice focuses on high-growth sectors, including AI, consumer tech, health and wellness, fintech, and cleantech. Before her time at Perkins Coie, which combined with her venture law boutique Kluk Farber Law in 2022, Agatha began her legal career at Debevoise & Plimpton.
“2025 was another year of extraordinary performance for our Technology Companies Group globally as we focus on helping our clients seize opportunities driven by the convergence of Tech, AI, Energy, Finance and Life Sciences,” said Orrick Chair Mitch Zuklie. “We are thrilled to kick off 2026 with a stellar addition like Agatha – a proven leader in the New York tech market, which is a strategic growth priority.”
The addition of Kluk continues a streak of 2025 investments in Orrick’s Technology Companies Group across Boston, Southern California, Silicon Valley, and the recently launched Miami office. Currently, one-third of the firm’s U.S. venture capital practice is based in East Coast markets.
“Orrick’s model of delivering holistic, sector-focused advice and innovative service delivery resonates for me and my clients,” said Agatha Kluk. “Today’s fast-growing startups face more complex opportunities, accelerated technological change and an uncertain regulatory environment. I am incredibly excited by what Orrick’s platform offers to them, and I look forward to building with my new colleagues.”
Orrick continues to hold a dominant position in the venture capital and M&A space, ranking in the top 5 globally for venture capital for eight consecutive years (PitchBook) and in the top 10 globally for M&A by deal volume in 2025 (LSEG).
