Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Barrington Broadcasting Group LLC, an operator of television stations in markets across the United States, in the sale of 18 television stations to Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. for $370 million.
The transaction, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, also involves the exercise of option agreements by Barrington and the sale of five additional stations with respect to which Sinclair will provide certain support services. The stations are located in 15 markets in the United States. More information on the deal can be found on the purchaser’s website.
