Alan R. Arkin Joins Litigation Group of Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP

Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP is pleased to welcome Alan R. Arkin as a Partner in the Litigation Group. Mr. Arkin represents private equity and hedge funds, financial institutions, corporations, and individuals in a wide range of civil, criminal, and regulatory matters, including commercial, securities, and corporate governance litigation, as well as with respect to internal, criminal, and regulatory investigations. He also has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration before the American Arbitration Association, JAMS, and FINRA.

Mr. Arkin also represents employers and employees in negotiations and litigation concerning wrongful terminations, compensation disputes, restrictive covenants, and employment discrimination, among others. He routinely counsels private equity and hedge funds, financial institutions, corporations, senior executives, and investment bankers with respect to their separations, entitlements under deferred compensation, co-investment, carried interest, and stock option plans, and non-competition agreements.

He also counsels clients with respect to private equity, hedge fund, and other partnership breakups and “divorces.”

Mr. Arkin received his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and his B.A. from Washington University.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Mr. Arkin was a Partner at Schiff Hardin LLP and Arkin Kaplan Rice LLP. He also previously practiced at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP and Anderson Kill & Olick P.C.
