Bryan Cave Bolsters Private Client Practice in California and New York

Renee Gabbard has joined the international law firm Bryan Cave LLP as a partner in the firm’s Irvine office. She will practice with the firm’s Private Client Service Group.

Gabbard will be joined from her previous firm by Of Counsel Edward Peck and Associate Megan Acosta, who also will practice with the firm’s Private Client Service Group. Peck will practice in the firm’s New York office and Acosta will practice in the firm’s Irvine office. Peck received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1969 and his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1966. Acosta received her J.D. in 2008 from Pepperdine University School of Law and her B.A. in 2005 from the University of California at Berkeley.

Gabbard’s practice focuses on privately held businesses, high net worth clients and charitable organizations. She specializes in tax planning, charitable planning, family office planning, insurance planning and trust administration. Gabbard has experience in business succession and wealth planning for high net worth families, and families with concentrated stock ownership or privately held businesses.

Gabbard received her J.D. in 1992 from New York University and her B.A. in 1989 from the University of Southern California.
