Cindy Yang has joined the Schiff Hardin LLP New York office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Group from Dickstein Shapiro LLP in New York.
Ms. Yang focuses in all areas of intellectual property law including patent, trademark and copyright litigation; U.S. and foreign patent prosecution; patent interferences, oppositions and post-grant reviews; licensing; due diligence investigations; and client counseling regarding the procurement and enforcement of intellectual property rights worldwide. She has extensive complex multidistrict and litigation experience, and she represents Fortune 500 companies, U.S. and foreign companies, universities, hospitals, start-up ventures, artists and independent inventors.
Additionally, Ms. Yang counsels clean-energy companies based in Asia regarding U.S. and international intellectual property portfolio development, strategic business partnerships, and intellectual property acquisition and enforcement.
She is a graduate of Yeshiva University – Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D., 2002) and the University of California, San Diego (B.S., Biochemistry and Cell Biology, 1997; B.A., History, 1997).
