Kilpatrick Townsend Adds Corporate Partner to New York Office

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Guy N. Molinari has joined the firm’s New York office. Mr. Molinari will be a partner on the Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Team within the firm’s Corporate, Finance, & Real Estate Department.

Mr. Molinari comes to Kilpatrick Townsend with 25 years of diverse experience. For eight years, he was with Heller Ehrman LLP in New York and for 10 years at Werbel & Carnelutti, P.C. which became Heller Ehrman’s New York office. While with Heller Ehrman, Mr. Molinari’s leadership included Co-Chair of the Corporate and Securities National Practice Group; Co-Leader of the Capital Markets Practice; and Chair of the New York Business Department. His practice includes advising entrepreneurs, executives, investors and financial intermediaries, including VCs, investment banks, and hedge funds in business formation and development transactions, public and private debt and equity financings, and counseling participants in business combinations and corporate governance matters.

For the past five years, Mr. Molinari has operated his own firm where he provided general corporate advice to investors in distressed or developing businesses. He has also served for two years as General Counsel of next generation wind turbine technology company Northern Power Systems, Inc., and as General Counsel for multi-strategy investment funds.

Mr. Molinari earned his JD and MBA from Columbia University and his BA from the University of Pittsburgh, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
