Veteran Employee Benefits Lawyer, Lee T. Polk, Joins Epstein Becker Green in Chicago

The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green (EBG) today announced that Lee T. Polk, a prominent employee benefits attorney, has joined the firm as a Member in the Employee Benefits practice in the Chicago office.

Polk was formerly a Partner with Barnes & Thornburg LLP in Chicago. He represents management and plan fiduciaries in employee benefits law, both on the business planning, compliance, and transactions side, as well as in disputes, litigation, and arbitration involving employee benefits issues. Those legal services also involve dealings with all of the government agencies in the highly regulated arena of employee benefits.

Polk is the immediate past chair of the Qualified Plans Committee of the ABA Section of Real Property Probate & Trust Law. He is a charter fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel, a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a member of the American, Illinois State, and Chicago Bar Associations and the ESOP Association. He is the author of a four-volume treatise entitled ERISA Practice & Litigation published by West Group and updated annually for legal developments.
