Darren Traub has joined Akerman Senterfitt as a shareholder within its Litigation Practice Group and will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Traub has more than 12 years of experience in commercial litigation with a focus on intellectual property, complex business, entertainment, and related matters, such as trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, rights of publicity, business divorces, fiduciary duties, and contractual issues. He has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including professional sports franchises, professional athletes, major corporations, business executives, entertainment conglomerates, record labels, recording artists, pharmaceutical companies, beverage companies, and software and technology companies in federal and state courts, courts of appeal, private arbitrations, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In addition to his extensive litigation experience, Traub counsels clients in obtaining, policing, and protecting their intellectual property.

Traub joins from Herrick Feinstein LLP and is admitted to the New York Bar and the State Bar of Georgia.
