Shearman & Sterling represented the underwriters, Banco Bradesco BBI S.A. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, which acted as joint bookrunners in connection with Banco do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul’s debt offering of US$275 million 7.375% Subordinated Notes due 2022.

Banco do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul S.A. is a multiple-service bank in Southern Brazil, particularly in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, that concentrates its operations on the needs of retail customers, small- and medium-sized companies and public sector entities.
