Davis Polk is advising Chemtura Corporation in connection with the $200 million sale of its Antioxidant and UV Stabilizers business to an affiliate of SK Capital Partners. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and expected to close by the end of 2012 or in early 2013.
Chemtura is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based global manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemicals, agro chemicals, and pool, spa and home care products. SK Capital is a New York-based investment firm with a disciplined focus on the specialty materials, chemicals and health care sectors.
