Seyfarth Continues Growth of Real Estate Department, Welcomes Miles Borden in New York

Leading law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today that Miles Borden has joined as a partner to the firm’s Real Estate Department in New York. Borden was previously a partner at Troutman Sanders.

Borden’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions and real estate-related matters in connection with corporate mergers and acquisitions. He represents institutional real estate owners and lenders in acquisitions development projects and dispositions, joint ventures, mortgage, mezzanine and construction loans, Individual Development Accounts (IDA) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) financings, ground and space leases, sale lease backs, development, management and leasing agreements, construction contracts, and architect and construction management agreements.

Borden received his B.A. and B.S. degrees from University at Buffalo, State University of New York and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
