Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Valley Proteins, Inc. in the acquisition of certain real and personal property of Perdue Farms LLC and certain of its affiliates used in the rendering business. The transaction also involved the negotiation of supply agreements between Valley Proteins, Perdue Farms and certain Perdue affiliates.
Valley Proteins collects, renders and recycles inedible animal by-products and restaurant greases from the food industry across seventeen states in the Mid-Atlantic, eastern and southwestern United States to produce quality fats and proteins used in the production of animal feed ingredients and biofuels.
