Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Prudential Real Estate Investors, the real estate investment and advisory business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU), in securing $805 million of discretionary capital for its Prudential U.S. Real Estate Debt Fund.
After targeting $500 million in capital commitments, the fund exceeded its target by raising more than $800 million from a group of prominent global institutional investors. The Fund will target debt investments in both new originations and secondary acquisitions secured by institutional quality income producing properties throughout the United States.
Private Investment Funds partner Joshua Sternoff led the Paul Hastings team, which also included Tax partner Kristen Chang Winckler, Private Investment Funds partner Tom Rao, and Private Investment Funds associate Joseph Reiss.
