Shearman & Sterling Represents American Axle Manufacturing in $550 Million Notes Offering and Concurrent Debt Tender Offer and Consent Solicitation

Shearman & Sterling represented American Axle Manufacturing, Inc. (AAM), along with its parent and subsidiary guarantors, in connection with its shelf takedown of $550 million aggregate principal amount of 6.625% Senior Notes due 2022 and in connection with its concurrent tender offer and consent solicitation for all of the outstanding $250 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.25% Senior Notes due 2014.

AAM is a world leader in the manufacture, engineering, design and validation of driveline and drivetrain systems and related components and chassis modules for light trucks, sport utility vehicles, passenger cars, crossover vehicles and commercial vehicles.
