Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm advised Furniture Brands International (NYSE: FBN), a world leader in designing, manufacturing, sourcing and retailing home furnishings, in closing a $250 million new five year secured financing.
GE Capital, Bank of America and Wells Fargo provided a $200 million asset-based loan and Pathlight Capital, LLC, a portfolio company of Sycamore Partners, will serve as Administrative and Collateral Agent on the $50 million secured term loan.
Furniture Brands’ portfolio includes well-known brands such as Thomasville, Broyhill, Lane, Drexel Heritage, Henredon, Pearson, Hickory Chair, Lane Venture, Maitland-Smith and La Barge.
Finance and Restructuring partners Leslie Plaskon and Craig Lee led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates Emily Pittman andMaria Merritt.
