Jones Day Welcomes Capital Markets Partner Ian Blumenstein in New York

The global law firm Jones Day is pleased to announce that Ian Blumenstein joined the New York Office as a partner in theCapital Markets Practice. He was previously a partner with Cooley LLP in New York, where he was a member of the Credit Finance, Public Companies, and Public Offering practices.

Mr. Blumenstein focuses his practice on advising both issuers and underwriters on high-yield debt financings, as well as advising corporate and investment banking clients on other equity and debt capital markets transactions. Over the course of his career, he has represented many of the world’s leading investment banks in a range capital markets matters. Mr. Blumenstein also has significant experience advising corporate clients in general corporate and securities matters, including restructurings, M&A, joint ventures, ‘34 Act compliance, and derivative securities.
