Leading Private Equity and M&A Transactional Lawyer Taurie Zeitzer Joins New York Office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP

Kirkland & Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Taurie M. Zeitzer has joined the New York office as a partner in the Corporate Practice Group. Ms. Zeitzer joins the Firm from the New York office of Latham & Watkins LLP, where she was a partner in the corporate department.

Ms. Zeitzer focuses her practice on M&A, private equity and complex corporate transactions, including leveraged buyouts, cross-border transactions, carve-out transactions, distressed acquisitions, joint ventures, co-investments and divestitures.

Ms. Zeitzer has completed numerous complex billion dollar-plus transactions on behalf of some of the largest and most sophisticated global private equity firms. She also frequently represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in related matters, including financings, follow-on acquisitions, dispositions and corporate governance.

Ms. Zeitzer holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a B.A. from Duke University.
