Andrews Kurth Adds Corporate Partner Roger Griesmeyer in New York

The international law firm of Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce the addition of corporate and transactional attorney Roger Griesmeyer as a Partner in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Griesmeyer represents companies, investment funds, private equity funds and other institutions, as well as individual and institutional investors, in a variety of corporate advisory and transactional matters. He specializes in sophisticated, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, securities and joint ventures across a number of industries, including manufacturing, retail, real estate, software and technology. He adeptly guides boards of directors, special committees and other investors on growth strategy, restructurings, economic efficiency, and other corporate governance issues. His recent experience includes advising several international entities on their investments in strategic U.S. assets. He has also advised on some of the most high-profile transactions in recent memory, including the redevelopment of the World Trade Center in New York City.

Mr. Griesmeyer was the founding and managing member of LaSasso Griesmeyer Law Group in New York since 2008.  Prior to that, he was an associate with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and Hong Kong, and with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. He currently serves as an adjunct corporate drafting professor at Brooklyn Law School. Mr. Griesmeyer earned his law degree, summa cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, after obtaining his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He serves on the Asian Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association; the Alumni Admissions Board for Brooklyn Law School; and on certain alumni committees for Dartmouth College.
