Greenberg Traurig Expands Korea Practice with the Addition of Hyun Chung

The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLPannounced that Hyun Chung has joined the firm as a shareholder in its New York Corporate & Securities Practice.  Chung will focus on enhancing the firm’s practice in Korea and throughout Asia.  Prior to joining the firm, Chung was Director and  Counsel at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, where he advised across a wide range of structured products and derivatives, having previously practiced law as Senior Corporate Attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York.

Chung focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on corporate finance and structured products, as well as derivatives. He provides counsel on collateralized loan obligations, leveraged investments and various other structured products. Chung has represented both issuers and underwriters in a wide range of securities offerings, including CLOs, CDOs, high-yield securities, convertible debt securities, medium-term notes, equity linked securities, trust preferred securities, exchangeable bonds, common stock and equity units. The firm expects him to work closely with a range of lawyers across the firm, including Frank Adams in London, a recent addition who had been the global chair of corporate finance for Dewey & Leboeuf and is well regarded in the high yield arena.
