Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher New Hire Aims to Widen Firm’s New York Practice

International law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher tapped Tomer Pinkusiewicz for New York legal jobs, according to a press release.

Pinkusiewicz joins the firm’s New York office as a partner and is set to resume his practice’s focus of capital markets and narrowing that concentration on project bonds and infrastructure.

He brings with him extensive experience in transactions germane to Latin America.

“Tomer is a great addition to the firm,” chairman and managing partner Ken Doran with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher said. “Tomer’s primary practice is capital markets, but he also has extensive experience and a market-leading reputation in project finance and infrastructure work in Latin America and the United States. Both areas remained strong during the recession and are expected to grow over the next several years.”

The New York office’s co-partner in charge said the new acquisition from legal recruiting is projected to widen the scope of work in New York and enhance the firm’s drive in Latin America.

A fluent Spanish speaker, Pinkusiewicz was at his previous firm White & Case since 1998, serving from 2007 as a partner.
