International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Jonathan E. Silverblatt has joined the Corporate group in the Firm’s New York office as a Partner. Mr. Silverblatt’s practice focuses on representing public and privately-held companies, private equity sponsors and their related portfolio companies and investment banks in a full range of corporate transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, tender offers, securities offerings, leveraged financings, corporate reorganizations and joint ventures and strategic alliances. His experience covers a range of industries including media and technology, investment management, life sciences, transportation, consumer products, entertainment, restaurant and retail, natural resources and real estate.

Prior to joining Dorsey, Mr. Silverblatt was a partner with Phillips Nizer LLP. He received a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
