Real Estate Practice of NY Firm Brings On New Co-chair

A New York law firm has hired partner Stuart M. Saft to direct the firm’s real estate practice.

A New York law firm has hired partner Stuart M. Saft to direct the firm’s real estate practice, according to a press release.

Stuart M. Saft brings more than 40 years worth of legal experience to Holland & Knight and will serve as co-chair of the New York Real Estate Practice Group. He was recruited from a previous legal job as partner and chair of the global real estate practice for Dewey & LeBoeuf.

“Bringing on board someone with Stuart’s impressive background will significantly enhance our presence in the New York market,” said Martin Miner, the other co-chair of the firm’s New York Real Estate Practice Group.

Saft will bring his vast experience in other New York legal jobs, using his strong relationships to widen the practice’s work with major acquisitions, structuring deals, financing, leasing, development and converting condominiums, to name a few.

He client base includes prominent New York real estate firms, developers and investors who have helped shape the landscape of the city.
