Jones Day Welcomes Private Equity Partner Ira White in New York

The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Ira White joined the firm on May 1, 2012 in New York as a partner in the Private Equity Practice. He was previously a partner with Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in New York, where he served as U.S. Co-Chair of the Private Equity Transactions Group.

Mr. White has significant experience advising private equity sponsors on a wide variety of acquisitions and exit transactions. He has represented many different funds in a broad range of industries, including the energy, pharmaceutical, retail, technology, rail, and manufacturing industries.

Mr. White is a graduate of the Fordham University School of Law and New York University.
