Pryor Cashman Continues To Strengthen Investment Management Practice With Addition Of New Partner Bertrand C. Fry

Pryor Cashman LLP (www.pryorcashman.com) is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its Corporate Group with the addition of new partner Bertrand C. Fry, who joined the firm today in its New York City office.

Mr. Fry’s experience includes providing legal support for launching and operating a diverse array of investment products engaged in macro, distressed, private equity, venture capital, and real estate investing; debt origination, quantitative trading of securities and futures; internal and external investments in management entities, divestitures of group businesses, and senior staff compensation arrangements.
Prior to joining Pryor Cashman, Mr. Fry was Senior Vice President of D. E. Shaw & Co., L.P., and a member of the group’s legal department, where he focused on various fund structuring and management company-related matters. Before that, he advised a wide range of hedge funds, funds of funds, and their managers as a member of the London office of Dechert LLP. 
Mr. Fry is a member of the New York bar and earned his J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where he was also an articles editor for the Texas Law Review, an award recipient of the Outstanding Second-Year Member Award from the Texas Law Review, a scholarship recipient of the Gilbert I. Low Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Law, and received the Highest Achievement in Contracts.
