Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Deutsche Bank AG (New York) in connection with the US$2.1 billion senior secured credit facility (US$1.8 billion term facility; US$300 million revolver facility) for Colfax Corporation. The proceeds will be used by Colfax to complete its cross-border acquisition of Charter International plc.
The transaction was one of the first syndicated leverage financings done in compliance with the recently revised UK Takeover Code. In addition to advising on the bank finance aspects of this transaction, the White & Case London M&A team represented Deutsche Bank AG (London), as financial advisor in connection with the deal.
“This deal was a great opportunity for us to leverage the benefits of our international network and cross-practice capabilities for our clients,” said Eric Berg, head of White & Case’s Global Banking Practice.
