SNR Denton announced today that Charles Luband has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in its Health Care practice. Luband joins SNR Denton from Ropes & Gray LLP.
“Charlie brings important new capabilities and credibility to our already strong health care group both as a nationally recognized Medicaid authority and an exceptional health care regulatory lawyer,” said Tom Hyatt, head of SNR Denton’s US Health Care practice.

Luband has worked with a broad range of health care providers, associations and companies on a wide range of health care regulatory and reimbursement issues, including Medicare and Medicaid issues, the 340B drug pricing program and the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA). He is highly knowledgeable about health care provisions included in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and in the Affordable Care Act. Luband provides clients with regulatory counseling, policy advice and advocacy and assistance with litigation matters. Luband has been anually recognized by Chambers USA’s compilation of leading lawyers since 2009 and is a frequent speaker at national conferences.

Luband earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, a Masters of Public Policy (MPP) from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and his B.A. from Brown University.
