Perkins Coie Grows New York Office

Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Gary Eisenberg has joined the firm’s New York office as Partner in the firm’s Financial Transactions & Restructuring practice. He joins the firm from Herrick, Feinstein LLP.

Eisenberg will focus his practice on creditor’s rights, workouts, litigation and bankruptcy, with a particular focus on representing Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) Special Servicers and other financial institutions. He brings over 20 years of experience to the firm in representing secured creditors, CMBS special servicers, bondholders, hedge funds, investors and distressed asset buyers in large and complex cases. 
“We are delighted to have Gary join the firm”, said Mark Birnbaum, chair of the firm’s Real Estate Workout practice.  “Gary brings with him a wealth of experience in representing CMBS special servicers and other real property secured creditors and really bolsters our workout capabilities on the East Coast.”
Eisenberg earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. magna cum laude, with distinction, from Yale University. He is admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Stewart G. Pollock of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
