Davis Polk is advising Credit Suisse AG and the other joint lead arrangers in connection with the bridge and bond financing portion of a €870 million financing to be provided to Apollo Management, L.P. in connection with its LBO of Taminco Group Holdings S.à.r.l. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2012.
Taminco, a Belgian chemicals company, is the world’s largest producer of alkylamines. Alkylamines and their derivatives are used in a number of industries, including agriculture and pharmaceuticals. Apollo Management is a leading global alternative asset manager. Apollo Management has assets under management of $65 billion in private equity, credit-oriented capital markets and real estate funds across nine industries.
