Davis Polk Advises Morgan Stanley Infrastructure on the Sale of Its Stake in Grupo Saesa

Davis Polk advised Morgan Stanley Infrastructure in connection with the sale of its 50% interest in Inversiones Grupo Saesa Limitada to investment vehicles managed by Alberta Investment Management Corporation.

Morgan Stanley Infrastructure, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, is an infrastructure investment and management platform with $4 billion under management that focuses on assets providing essential public goods and services to societies across the globe. Inversiones Grupo Saesa is the second-largest electricity distributor in Chile and is the main provider in the southern regions of the country. Alberta Investment Management is one of Canada’s largest and most diversified investment managers and invests globally on behalf of 26 pension, endowment and government funds in the Province of Alberta.
