Frederick R. Fucci Joins Dickstein Shapiro LLP; Adds Wealth of Energy and Transactions Experience

Dickstein Shapiro LLP is pleased to welcome Frederick R. Fucci as a partner in the firm’s Energy Practice in New York. With more than two decades of experience, Mr. Fucci focuses his practice on corporate and commercial transactions and the development and financing of infrastructure projects in the United States and abroad, principally in the energy sector, as well as on international commercial arbitration.

Mr. Fucci has many years of experience representing both domestic and international clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, power project development and financing, and commercial contracts matters, as well as in international arbitration. He has served as lead counsel on independent power projects using both carbon-based and renewable fuels and has advised energy service companies on energy efficiency projects and the installation of distributed generation facilities. His corporate transactions practice includes mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, asset purchases and dispositions, and financing start up enterprises, with an emphasis on foreign companies acquiring or launching businesses in the United States. Mr. Fucci also devotes a portion of his practice to international commercial arbitration, which has included appointments as an independent arbitrator in cases administered under rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). Mr. Fucci currently serves as the chairperson of the Energy Committee of the New York City Bar Association as well as one of the U.S. delegates to the ICC Commission on Arbitration, the body that oversees the ICC’s arbitration rules. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, obtained his M.A. from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, served as a Resident Foreign Fellow at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, and earned his B.A. from Amherst College. Prior to joining Dickstein Shapiro, Mr. Fucci was a partner at Arnold & Porter LLP.
